Common questions
What counts as a conversation?
A conversation is one discrete customer interaction: a ticket, chat, call transcript, email thread, survey response or review. Rows that share a session ID count as one. Files you add only as context, like a CRM export or store list, are free up to your plan's limit: 25K rows on Explore, 100K on Discover, 500K on Prove, 2M on Scale.
What is the Causal Join and why is it behind Prove?
The Causal Join connects what customers said to your business metrics: who churned, what revenue moved, which contracts renewed. It needs at least two data sources, and it is what makes a finding causal rather than descriptive. It is how Travelers found $3.13M in savings. It is available on Prove and above.
What happens if I go over my monthly conversation limit?
Over your conversation limit, you move to the next plan, prorated. Every plan includes enough enrichments for 10 Dimensions on every conversation in your limit (one enrichment is one Dimension on one conversation). Beyond that, extra enrichments cost $0.04, $0.025, $0.015 or $0.01 each on Explore, Discover, Prove and Scale. You get an alert at 80%, and we never stop your data. Month one includes 3x your limits to load history.
What is the Week 4 deliverable guarantee?
On Discover and Prove, you get one specific causal finding from your own data, with statistical evidence, by the end of Week 4. If you don't, we refund Month 1 in full. No questions asked. Reports are unlimited on every plan.
Do you offer free trials or POCs?
Yes. Every plan from Explore to Scale starts with a 14-day free trial on your own data. You add a card at checkout and are not charged during the trial. Cancel before day 14 and you pay nothing. After the trial, monthly plans have no contract, and on Discover and Prove the Week 4 guarantee still applies. Enterprise deals over $100K can run a paid POC at $15,000 to $25,000 against signed success criteria.
Does this replace our Snowflake or BI tools?
No. We are the missing layer between your raw conversation data and the warehouse you already have. Dimension Labs enriches every conversation and pushes the output to Snowflake, Databricks or BigQuery, where your BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) query it alongside everything else. We add to your stack. We don't replace it.
