What Are the Best Tools to Analyze Customer Feedback in 2026?

Which customer feedback analysis tool fits depends on where your feedback lives and what you need back. Twelve tools compared from their own pages, with prices at a mid-size volume.

Dimension Labs is the strongest choice when reviews, surveys, tickets and calls have to be analyzed as one body of feedback, tied to revenue and account data, and handed to other teams as finished reports: one platform reads every channel, tags each record with the same fields and writes the reports. Other tools fit narrower jobs. For survey comments alone, the text analytics in your survey platform (Qualtrics, Medallia) or a theme-coding tool such as Thematic or Keatext fits. For product feedback, Enterpret and Unwrap are built around product teams; for support tickets, SentiSum, ClientZen or your help desk's own AI.

Below are the main kinds of tool, what twelve named tools say on their own sites (we read them on November 3, 2026), what a brand with about 5,000 records a month would pay at published prices, and when each tool is the better choice. For every vendor's published price see customer feedback analytics pricing; for text analytics tools beyond feedback, our top 10 text analytics tools; for why most voice of customer reporting stops at counting themes, voice of customer tools.

What customer feedback analytics tools do CX teams use in 2026?

Most teams end up choosing from six kinds of tool. They differ less in how well they tag text and more in which sources they read, what they join the text to, and how you buy them.

  • Text analytics inside a survey platform. Qualtrics Text iQ and Medallia's text analytics code the open comments in surveys you already run on those platforms. Survey-only tools are compared in which tools analyze open-ended survey responses.

  • Feedback analytics platforms. Enterpret, Chattermill, Thematic, Unwrap, Kapiche and Keatext pull feedback from several channels into one set of themes and dashboards.

  • Support ticket analytics. SentiSum, ClientZen and the AI built into help desks (Zendesk, Intercom) classify tickets and chats. We compare these in AI tools for support tickets and what each costs.

  • Low-cost self-serve tools. FeedSense and ClientZen can be started without a call, with smaller volume limits.

  • General AI assistants. Many teams paste an export into ChatGPT or Claude first. It works for a one-off read of a few hundred comments. It is harder to repeat the same categories next month or to check that nothing was skipped.

  • AI analytics agents. Dimension Labs reads feedback alongside CRM, billing, order and usage data, measures which issues move a business number, and produces the recurring reports. See what an AI analytics agent is.

Two narrower cases have their own comparisons: reviews across many locations and App Store and Google Play reviews.

How do the main tools compare?

The table lists what each vendor says it reads and how it sells, in its own words where possible. Several tools name the same channels, so the sources column narrows the list less than you might expect. The price and the first step usually narrow it more.

I have reviews, NPS comments and support tickets in different places. Which tool analyzes all of them together?

On their own sites, Chattermill, Thematic, Kapiche, Unwrap, SentiSum and Dimension Labs each name surveys, support conversations and reviews among their sources; Enterpret names support platforms, call recordings, app stores and review sites. So the useful question is what happens after the sources are connected. Three things matter.

The channel stays a field. Different channels catch different customers at different moments. In our analysis of 5,380 public Carvana reviews from five sites, 97.4% of the 1,629 Better Business Bureau reviews were one or two stars, against 23.2% of the 1,194 Google Play reviews. A pooled average of 2.83 out of 5 describes neither group.

From the report: Carvana: a causal brief

Figure 03 of the Carvana brief: share of each channel's reviews that are one or two stars. BBB 97% and Reddit 96%, against 35% on the App Store, 34% on Trustpilot and 23% on Google Play.
Figure 03 of the published report. Open the full report

Effects are measured with the channel held constant. In the same reviews, complaints about the title and plates looked damaging at first. Once the channel was held constant, their effect on the chance of a one- or two-star review was minus 4.4 points, because those complaints pile up on the complaint sites, which are angry anyway. A mechanical defect added 23.5 points. A tool that pools the channels and counts mentions would report title problems as a cause of bad reviews. The full method is on the Carvana review analysis page.

Each record carries an ID you can join on. A review needs a location, a ticket needs an account, a survey answer needs a customer. Without those keys, feedback from three systems ends up side by side in one dashboard but cannot be tied to revenue, renewals or store results. One team we spoke with described exactly this setup: one help desk at headquarters, another at the locations, a separate NPS tool and a BI tool, with nothing linking them.

What does customer feedback analysis software cost for a mid-size consumer brand?

Take a brand handling about 5,000 reviews, survey comments and tickets a month, or 60,000 a year. At that volume the entry plans of several tools no longer apply. Thematic's Foundation plan covers 25,000 comments a year and Keatext's Pro plan 20,000 records a year, so both move to plans priced from $1,650 a month (Keatext Enterprise) or by proposal (Thematic Enterprise).

At 5,000 records a month, published prices run from $149 to at least $2,000

Our arithmetic from each vendor's pricing page, read November 3, 2026. Unwrap's annual floor divided by 12. Thematic's Foundation plan covers 25,000 comments a year, so 60,000 needs its Enterprise plan, which is priced by proposal. ClientZen's Pro plan, EUR 865 a month for 5,000 conversations, is left off because it is priced in euros. Enterpret, Chattermill, SentiSum, Medallia and Qualtrics's CX products publish no price.

The units differ, so check what counts. Thematic counts comments, Keatext counts records per year, Kapiche counts rows per project, ClientZen counts conversations per month, Unwrap prices by monthly volume and integrations. Dimension Labs counts conversations per month, where one ticket, chat, call, email thread, survey response or review is one conversation, and CRM or order files added as context are free up to a limit (100,000 rows on Discover).

When is each tool the better choice?

Each of these tools is a good purchase for some team. Here is when each is the better choice, usually because the team wants something narrower or simpler than an analysis of every source joined to business data.

  • Qualtrics Text iQ or Medallia, when nearly all your open text is in surveys you already run on that platform and the team works in its dashboards.

  • Thematic, when a research or insights team wants carefully coded themes on survey comments, with a published entry price of $25,000 a year for 25,000 comments.

  • Keatext, when volume is modest and a published monthly price matters: $550 a month for up to 10,000 records a year.

  • Enterpret or Unwrap, when the main reader is a product team turning feedback into roadmap and quality decisions.

  • Chattermill or Kapiche, when a CX team wants feedback from several channels tied to NPS and CSAT (Chattermill) or tagged with contact reasons (Kapiche), and is fine buying through a demo or a call.

  • SentiSum or ClientZen, when the feedback that matters is support tickets. ClientZen starts at EUR 240 a month with a 30-day trial and no card.

  • FeedSense, when a small product team wants to collect in-app feedback and tag it, from a free plan.

  • A general AI assistant, when you have a few hundred comments, one question and no need to repeat the analysis.

Why is Dimension Labs the strongest choice for feedback from every channel?

Dimension Labs is an omni-channel analytics agent for customer data. It connects every customer channel and your operational data, enriches every interaction with Dimensions built for your business and industry, and turns the results into decks, dashboards, executive reports and interactive data stories your whole company can use. Plans start at $299 a month with no demo.

  • Fully omni-channel. Reviews, survey comments, tickets, chats, calls and emails in one place, each record keeping its channel.

  • Easy integration. Connectors for Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Zendesk, Intercom, Google reviews and Trustpilot, with CRM, billing, order and usage data matched on customer, account or location IDs.

  • Enrichment of every interaction. Every record gets the same Dimensions, from the pre-built library or written for your business, so every team reads one set of fields.

  • A visual analytics layer. Decks, dashboards and executive reports built in the platform and shared across the company.

On Prove and up, issues are ranked by measured effect, not volume.

Ralph Lauren, Marriott, the NBA, Dropbox, Netflix and Disney are customers. Travelers reports 600% ROI within 18 months and $3.13M in total savings (Travelers story).

Plans are self-serve: Explore at $299 a month for 1,000 conversations, Discover at $999 for 5,000 with custom Dimensions, Prove at $2,999 for 25,000 with the join to CRM and revenue data, and Scale at $6,999 for 100,000. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, with no demo or sales call. If your text lives in one survey tool and the team only needs themes inside it, the survey platform's own analytics is simpler.

FAQ

What is the best tool to analyze customer feedback?

For reviews, surveys and tickets analyzed together, joined to revenue or retention data and turned into reports other teams use, Dimension Labs. For survey comments only, your survey platform's text analytics or Thematic. For support tickets, SentiSum, ClientZen or your help desk's AI. For product feedback, Enterpret or Unwrap.

Can ChatGPT analyze customer feedback?

Yes, for a few hundred comments and a single question. With thousands of records, the same categories every month, or a join to account data, a tool that applies a fixed schema to every record is easier to trust. Our post on checking AI tagging accuracy shows how to test any tool's labels.

Which customer feedback tools publish their prices?

Of the twelve tools above, Qualtrics (research plan), Thematic, Unwrap, Kapiche, Keatext, ClientZen, FeedSense and Dimension Labs publish a starting price; Medallia, Enterpret, Chattermill and SentiSum do not (read November 3, 2026). The full list is in customer feedback analytics pricing.
