Every Dialpad message, in the same shape as everything else.
Each record lands in the Dimension Labs conversation format, so Dimensions, reports and the agent work the same way as for every other source.
lines[].content text Only lines with type transcript.
call contact.id userId Dialpad's id for the contact. If the call has none, the code uses the sessionId.
lines[].user_id incoming false when the line has a user_id (a Dialpad user: an agent, or a bot). true otherwise.
call_id sessionId One call is one conversation in Dimension Labs.
call_id conversationId Same value as sessionId.
lines[].time dimensionlabs_timestamp The time has no zone; the code reads it as UTC. Lines closer than a second apart are spaced to 1,000 ms.
direction, group_id, master_call_id, labels, csat_score, moment names platformJson Leave out name, contact.name, contact.phone, contact.email, external_number and internal_number: they are names and phone numbers.
5 steps. Then it runs on its own.
A small job on your side reads Dialpad through its API and posts each message to the Dimension Labs universal API. The guide gives the steps, the field mapping and the code. Run the job once for history, then every 15 minutes. A live source is enriched automatically every day; history is enriched with a backfill.
